چکیده

In this paper we consider biased Maker-Breaker games played on the edge set of a given graph G. We prove that for every δ > 0 and large enough n, there exists a constant k for which if δ(G) ≥ δn and χ(G) ≥ k, then Maker can build an odd cycle in the (1 : b) game for b = O ( n log n ) . We also consider the analogous game where Maker and Breaker claim vertices instead of edges. This is a special case of the following well known and notoriously difficult problem due to Duffus, Luczak and Rödl: is it true that for any positive constants t and b, there exists an integer k such that for every graph G, if χ(G) ≥ k, then Maker can build a graph which is not t-colorable, in the (1 : b) Maker-Breaker game played on the vertices of G?

Parallel Repetition of the Odd Cycle Game

Higher powers of the Odd Cycle Game has been the focus of recent investigations [3,4]. In [4] it was shown that if we repeat the game d times in parallel, the winning probability is upper bounded by 1 −Ω( √

A JOINT DUTY CYCLE SCHEDULING AND ENERGY AWARE ROUTING APPROACH BASED ON EVOLUTIONARY GAME FOR WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS

Network throughput and energy conservation are two conflicting important performance metrics for wireless sensor networks. Since these two objectives are in conflict with each other, it is difficult to achieve them simultaneously. In this paper, a joint duty cycle scheduling and energy aware routing approach is proposed based on evolutionary game theory which is called DREG. Making a trade-off ...

Biased orientation games

We study biased orientation games, in which the board is the complete graph Kn, and OMaker (oriented maker) and OBreaker (oriented breaker) take turns in directing previously undirected edges of Kn. At the end of the game, the obtained graph is a tournament. OMaker wins if the tournament has some property P and OBreaker wins otherwise. We provide bounds on the bias that is required for OMaker’s...

Changes in a Service Oriented Enterprise: A Game Theory Approach

Service Oriented Enterprises (SOEs) are subject to constant change and variation. In this paper, the changes are considered from an economic perspective based on service culture notion. Once a change is implemented, the costs of some member services may increase, whereas the costs of some other services may reduce. We construct a game theoretic model trying to capture the possible conflicting i...

Paired-Domination Game Played in Graphs

In this paper, we continue the study of the domination game in graphs introduced by Bre{v{s}}ar, Klav{v{z}}ar, and Rall. We study the paired-domination version of the domination game which adds a matching dimension to the game. This game is played on a graph $G$ by two players, named Dominator and Pairer. They alternately take turns choosing vertices of $G$ such that each vertex chosen by Domin...
